THEY ONLY SERVE THE INTESTINE VERMICELLI DURING DINNER TIME!!!!

With that being said I think I'm not meant to eat those noodles because first time I wanted to go they were closed on Monday and Tuesdays and today I find out it's during dinner hours only :( wahhh! However we did over order and got beef noodle soup, che zhe mifen, braised pork over rice, boiled bamboos, boiled spinach, oyster pancake, duck and popcorn chicken. Everything tasted so authentic and i felt this sense of comfort as if I was back in taiwan again. My mother also approves and she's super picky when it comes to Taiwanese food here in the states. Need to go back and try the intestine noodles!!!

Mom and pop Taiwanese food. Portions were smaller than expected for the price point. More of a snack size.

Minced pork with rice and minced pork noodles were my favs. The flavors were spot on. Popcorn chicken didn't have much flavor and were a bit undercooked however. Oddly paired with spicy mayo. Skip. Also had their vermicelli soup - the consistency was thick and slimy. Not exactly what I was craving. Be sure to ask for vinegar hidden behind the cashier!

Overall - not my top choice for Taiwanese food but would return for their minced pork items.

Driven an hour here twice. They were closed both days. Why do you do this to me? Updating when they finally see open. I'm not even angry, just disappointed

This shit slaps. Legit oyster vermicelli. 5 stars. A+. My cravings for this Taiwanese comfort food have been satisfied after years of not going back to Taiwan. Could not be happier.

In a spontaneous day, two friends and I decided to try out Golden Leaf after a few recommendations from some friends. I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint!

We ordered around six dishes. My favorite was the beef noodle soup. However let me warn you that it is definitely quite hearty. The rice here is really good! And my Taiwanese friend mentioned it was very authentic. The oysters however didn't look right to me so I avoided them. (They seemed huge, which for me, means that the texture is not my favorite. But if you like big oysters you're probably in for a treat!).

All in all I'd come back and try different dishes. I enjoyed it and the service was pretty good and quick.

This place is on so many levels of "yaaaaaaas."

Taiwanese delicacies at its finest. It reminds me of a small hole in the wall restaurant with small dishes and a curated simple menu - meaning that everything on the menu is so so so good.

My friend took our group of 5 here, and we each ordered a bowl of the pork rice (they're individual sized - just enough to be enough for a meal), as well as the fried intestines, some veggies, and the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was interesting, as it was crispy and somewhat tasted like a healthier version of normal popcorn chicken. Not sure if it's actually healthier though. The veggie dish was a must get. And the intestine I like as well. I'm not a huge fan of intestine, but I try it when I get the chance to, and it it quite better than most places. All in all, suuuuper affordable and definitely a restaurant I want to frequent more often if I'm in the area. Would probably get the pork bowl by itself for a meal!!
